Siegfried & Roy had nurtured the dream for years -- to build a sanctuary where some of Nature's rarest creatures could live in a natural environment, a sanctuary where the public could share in the magic of these special creatures. Thus was born The Secret Garden of Siegfried & Roy, a jungle setting at The Mirage where the famous illusionists could showcase their worldwide effort to save rare white lions and tigers from extinction.		The setting allows the public a close look at the rare creatures Siegfried & Roy are saving for future generations. And it affords the rare white lions and tigers an environment as close as possible to the wild. "What man has destroyed, we are attempting to resurrect in the Secret Garden," Roy says. Siegfried says the Secret Garden allows future generations to see "the beauty, the majesty, the nobility of rare and exotic animals, not from video or a picture book, but real, up close and personal.
