One of Las Vegas leading attractions has a new star.  Multi-talented Rick Springfield takes his Grammy and American Music Award-winning career to a new level as the star of "EFX Alive", the stage spectacular at the MGM Grand.
   Singer...songwriter...musician...actor -- the titles all fit Springfield, who took over the lead role in January.  The new role coincided with the release of his new album, "Rick Springfield Alive -- Greatest Hits Live."
   Springfield plans to add elements of rock 'roll to the 2001 edition of "EFX Alive" to capitalize on his 30-year career in the music and concert industry.
   Known for energizing audiences, Springfield plans to infuse "EFX Alive" with a greater level of audience interaction.
