| Tony Bennett had it right when he sang
"The Loveliness of Paris" is his trademark song "I Left My
Heart in San Francisco." Few cities in the world are more identifiable with romance, charm and grace than Paris. And leave it to Las Vegas to capture the essence of that special city, with its own version on the Las Vegas Strip. Replicas of Paris icons found at Paris-Las Vegas Casino Resort include a 50-story half-replica of the Eiffel Tower, including an 11th floor French restaurant and a breathtaking view of the Strip from the top-floor observation deck. |
Three of the legs of the Eiffel Tower replica
extend into the hotel's casino. You enter the resort by circling a two-thirds replica of the Arc de Triomphe, with names and dates of Napolean's victories inscribed on the monument. There are also replicas of the Louve, the Paris Opera House and the Hotel de Ville. Not content to replicate the icons of Paris, the Las Vegas resort also features "Notre Dame de Paris," the first American adaptation of the French musical that has taken Europe by storm. |
